I absolutely love this reward jar set! It’s a great size, it’s large enough for kids to see and use easily but still fits nicely on our magnetic door without looking tacky. The quality is excellent; everything feels sturdy and well made. I really like that it can be used three different ways: with the included stand, hanging on a wall, or attached with the magnet. This reward jar is much better quality than I was expecting. It is sturdy and very well made with thick acrylic panels. It is a good size so that you don't fill up the jar too fast. It has a magnetic backing so I attached it to my fridge and it stays up with no problem. You can also display it on the included stand or hang it with the included strings and adhesive hook. It comes with a nice quality drawstring pouch to hold all of the stars. I love that the stars come in different colors and you can reserve the glitter ones for special tasks. You can also customize it with the included stickers. We used the stickers to write my daughter's name. She is 4-years-old and is very motivated to fill the jar with the stars. I love how aesthetically pleasing the whole jar is on my fridge but I also love that it isn't taking up too much space on a counter. This is the perfect reward system and I am impressed with how well thought out it is.

What a fabulous idea to make a tangible tracker for kids! I love that this jar can be displayed in so many ways, including via the magnet, wooden stand, and string jar handle. Given that most appliances are no longer magnetic, I do wish that the magnet was not mounted to the back, as you can see it faintly through the jar (this is a pretty minor complaint though). The included stars are very sturdy, and given the width of the jar you could also use coins or other tokens as well in lieu of stars. My jar arrived with one of the screws loose, although it was easy to reinstall it, and it helped demonstrate how easy it is to take apart the jar as needed. I love the assortment of stars, as do my kids, as they are so pretty and colorful. My kids have hung the jar on their doorknob, and we are using it as motivation for cleaning and reading. My kids asked at pickup yesterday if they could keep cleaning up when they got home, so you know it is working! The included stickers for customizing the jar are a great idea, but the quality of them is a little bit infuriating. While the stickers themselves are fine, the printing process cut through most of the backing, so it is extremely difficult to actually get the stickers off (“o” was particularly painful). I do really appreciate though that they provide extra vowels, as many companies do not! Overall this is an excellent product at a very reasonable price point. Given the quality and the uniqueness of this jar, I consider it to be an excellent value.

As a single mom its not easy this day and age to balance daily tasks and routines, raising young kids. (3-6) In the past I've tried a lot of tools and techniques to develop and instill healthy routines and structure, nothing has yet to help. I decided to take a chance and try this creative approach, and so far I got to say its working! This reward jar is super fun, goals oriented and applicable system. The jar itself is durable and can be displayed on the fridge or self standing, which is what I chose for my kids to see it daily. There are 41 vibrant plastic stars, the goal for my kids is 25 stars per week. Each color represents a goal, chore or a task. I chose the silver and gold glittered "special" stars for goals that my kids have a hard time with. And don't worry, if you need ideas, its provided for you in the box! It does come with stickers that you can use to decorate the jar, but I had a bit of a hard time, so I decided to use a chalk marker. Over all, I am very pleased with this smart reward system and of course my kids are motivated now more than ever. We are already seeing progress!! I recommend this to families that want and need a fun and creative way to motivate their littles!

This is the largest star jar we’ve seen and it’s actually a perfect size for two kids to share. We are doing a teamwork jar for our almost 5 year old and 2 year old. They both love it and get excited about picking out a colored star of their choice. I do like that the instructions sheet also provides helpful tips in case you needed ideas for doing color coded tasks/achievements (like yellow for morning time achievements such as teeth brushing). It’s really helpful to have these ideas in case we need to change things up over time. The construction of the jar is very similar to the original star jar on Amazon but it’s WAY bigger! They’re similar in quality as they both are made with plastic, front and back. Other knock off jars on Amazon are made of a thin wood backing and aren’t as heavy duty, but this one is very nice. I love the colors of the stars. They’re made of plastic as well, and the colors are on both sides (unlike some of the wooden star jars with wooden stars, that only have the color shown on one side). Love that you get six sparkly stars too. There are more stars than what can fit in the jar so plenty of colors to choose from. The box comes with an alphabetic sticker sheet with vinyl letters and heart/star shapes, a wooden stand (that’s sturdy and works great!), a magnet (already attached to the jar), an adhesive hook, string, and a canvas bag for holding the stars. The only few complaints I have is for one, most of the screws from the jar were loose and fell out when I first opened the box. I put it back together but kind of annoying it happened. The vinyl letters are also a bit jagged looking in some spots, and they were kind of tedious to remove from the sticker sheet—some ripped and some got stuck to the paper backing. Just be sure to take your time when removing the letters. Overall I think the value is there for just under $20. It’s similar in price to the original star jar, but way bigger, has way more star colors to choose from, more sparkly stars too, and really similar in construction so I can’t really complain. 4.5 stars!

I am delighted with this reward jar! It aligns very well with my intended use for it. It seems sturdy and well-made. The colors are pleasant, and I really like the aspect of having a few "special" stars. The set comes with three ways to display the jar -- magnet on the back, hang from a cord (with included adhesive hook), or set on the accompanying wooden stand. The set also comes with a sufficient quantity of alphabet letters for personalizing the front of your jar. It also includes a canvas bag with a drawstring, sufficient to hold all the stars. Additionally, the seller thought about the ways that these types of jars can be used to help children track their progress toward a goal. Suggested goals (written in "I can" type language) are on the back of the instruction page. A bonus is that the stars do not fit in my choke-test tube, meaning even parents of littles could safely use this jar (providing they deal with the cord and letters, which are the only choke hazards). I think this is a good value. My only complaint is that the magnet attached to the back is visible if light is shining through the jar (like when it's displayed in the stand). I will either hang this on my whiteboard (so no light comes through the back) or adhere darker color paper to the backside to block out light. I am so excited to use this with a certain small group of my students! We have been working on a writing goal that uses a student-friendly 5-star writing rubric. My plan is to put a star in the jar for every completed writing assignment that hits all the components of the rubric. I will be giving a "special" star (gold or silver sparkles) for writing that exceeds the rubric. When this group of students cooperatively manages to fill the jar with stars, they will earn a reward. Putting the letters on the jar was a little tricky for me. I am not fabulous with fine work, and these letters are quite thin (e.g. fragile). I'm also not great with keeping things straight. However, I have included pictures of my system to keep my letters centered and aligned. I used a small, flathead screwdriver to help me with letter placement, as it could hold tinier bits than my fingers can manage.
