I searched a few magnetic dart boards. They are not that many. I originally wanted a soft tip dartboard but I have small kids and with their bad aim I did not want to mess up the wall. Now instead of holes I have dents , but they are easy to repair. This is definitely a good quality board and the magnets stick very well even if thrown from far. I suggest you use doble sided tape to secure the board to your wall to avoid movement since it only come with one location to place a hook on the back (you get two hooks). You also get a plastic dry erase score sheet and 2 dry eraser pens. I added the small white board (VIZ-PRO brand 12x18), which I also recommend to keep the score sheet on the wall. Great product and a good way to introduce your kids to darts.

This product gets the whole family competing!! The magnetic darts stick well, especially if you throw softly. As someone who rents, I appreciate the magnets over regular darts as I don't have to worry about damage when we miss. The set comes with an adhesive hook so it attaches to the wall securely without making a hole. Scoring is simple with the enclosed diagram and dry erase score sheet. An unforeseen bonus of this game is my family regularly practicing their math skills while adding the score. The darts have a spot to stick to the board when not in use so the pieces don't get lost. I very rarely give rave reviews, but this was a family present this Christmas and it has been used consistently since it was opened. It doesn't look bad on my family room wall and my kids and their friends enjoyed playing all winter break. I highly recommend this product.

Got this as an activity that we can pull out when the kids come to visit. Was afraid that it would just be a flimsy toy, but it actually is well made and works good!We usually mount it on a basement wall with a Command Strip so it's easy to put up and down, although we sometimes just set it on a chair (see pictures) for a quick game. It's a nice, safe alternative to using sharp darts, and the magnetic darts stick really well to the board.Comments - Colorful, bright metal board is sturdy but lightweight and is easy to set on a chair or mount on a wall - Seems to appeal to kids of all ages, and adults can also play a game with them without getting bored - When we miss the board altogether the darts are soft and don't damage the walls - Comes with a dry erase scorecard that works, but frankly we don't usually bother with it - Dart magnets are surprisingly strong and usually stick very well to the board wherever you hit it - doesn't slide down on the board

This is a pretty nice dart board for kids. There are 3 magnetic darts in each color, with sturdy plastic "feathers" and strong magnets. There are two nice hooks to hang the board (only one hook is needed). There are 2 pens to keep score on a sturdy plastic dry erase scoreboard, and a well-made eraser to clean the erase board. The one item that is least sturdy is the dart board. It is sturdy enough as long as it is not mishandled and treated roughly. The magnetic quality of the board is very good. Thrown darts adhered magnetically to the board well and once you learn the "touch" it's not too hard to achieve good scores. This game is a lot of fun for kids of almost any age (and grown-ups might get a bit of a kick out of it as well!).

We got this out over Thanksgiving and the kids and guests really enjoyed playing. The dart magnets are surprisingly strong and stick to the board most times. We did not hang it on the wall yet as we are not sure where we'll put it up long term, so we placed it on a bench in our schoolroom. It worked well, but the heavy magnets of the darts ended up denting the wood on our window frame directly behind the target. We'll need to put something up on the wall around this board to protect it from the occasional stray shot. The kids enjoyed using the dry-erase scoreboard to keep track of each other.

We love a good darts game- but with our other board, sharp darts and two 13 year olds is not a good combo. The tip free magnetic version is perfect for kids to join in without accidents or darts breaking! The board is pretty lightweight for hanging and about average size and the magnetic dart tips are surprisingly very strong and stable when throwing! The dart size is on the smaller end but perfect for smaller hands. The four different colors make it easy for a group to play and the score board is an added bonus! We had so much fun playing this! Great value and fun for the whole family!

I love that this magnetic dart game is equivalent to the adult sharp version of darts. It allows kids to learn the basics of the game while getting a true feel for the form, minus the danger of sharp darts. The board is easily transported from room to room or indoors to outdoors, so can be played anywhere. The eraser, markers and labels are a nice addition but the quality isn't price reflected, imo.

This dart board is perfect for kids & fun for the adults too... My kids are younger so this magnetic dart option is a perfect way for them to play darts safely. They have a blast playing with this, the darts stick so well to the board and I love that it's aesthetically pleasing to look at in a frame rather then the traditional style dart board... My kids can get really competitive, so the erasable score board that is included has been great for them to keep track of everything. This would make for a great gift!

This magnetic dart board will be a fun indoor activity, especially with winter coming. The box looks nice for gift giving. The board, darts, etc. are packed securely and neatly. Setup with an adhesive hangar provided is simple and the board seems securely attached to the wooden post. It's easy to put up and take down if not in an area you want to hang it permanently. From a distance of 8-9 feet the magnetic darts held on well to the board. The impact noise is not loud. None fell to the floor.

This dart board is well made. The set comes with a wooden board, 12 magnetic darts, 2 hooks for hanging, a dry erase score card, 2 dry erase markers, and eraser and an instruction sheet. There is a 4 player maximum with each player throwing 3 darts. The magnets are very strong and easily stick to the board and they stay put. I love the use magnets instead of actual darts, not only is it safer for everyone but it eliminates the possibility of wall damge from errant throws . This game is great for kids but also for adults. Everyone in the family will enjoy this dart set, it's so much fun!

This is a nice, sturdy dartboard set. Even the box it comes in makes it appear to be of good quality. The darts are magnetic and safe, and the magnetic tips hold very well on the board. I like that it has a dedicated place to store the darts on the board. The board is a well made framed wood, so it doesn't look cheap or flimsy. The set includes a scorecard, markers and instructions. This will be a hit with the grandkids.

Sometimes it may roll down a bit but it doesn't fall off. Even for a 6 yr old trying his hand at it for the first time.It has a dry erase board so you can even keep score.I definitely Rex this for entertainment for your family.

This is great for a "pointless" dart game! Actually, the greatest challenge is mounting the board to a wall. The included hooks will push the top of the board 3/4 inch out from the wall. Attaching to the single black mounting bracket (see photo) will probably result in the board moving around a bit. That being said, I used two sets on 3M Command hangers (medium picture hanging set, 12 lb.--one set on top left, one on top right--not included) and that works great. I can remove them without damaging my wall if I change my game space later.The scoreboard is a stiff (about 1mm thick) plastic dry erase board . Two included black markers can be used to keep score. A magnetic eraser (sticks to the dartboard) can be used to erase the scores after a game. Darts have a "home" position below the scoring circle and that's a good place to store them when not in use. Although the darts do not have points, they are still a weighty object being thrown--adult supervision may be needed for younger children.

He is getting older and not playing with toys as much so I thought this was a good option.The size and colors are good for hanging this on my son's wall in his bedroom. There is a loop on the back for hanging and it comes with 2 hooks to stick on your wall, but I'll probably just use a nail. I love that the darts have a place to be stored on the board. I also love that they're magnets not pointy because I have younger kids in my house. The magnets are very strong, I'm impressed. This dart board also comes with a scoreboard that's white erase, 2 markers, and an eraser. I wish there was a spot to store those on the back of the board. I am happy with my purchase and I think my son will enjoy this

CONS -I feel the plastic parts of the darts could have a tiny bit more heft to them. SUMMARY: My wife & I used to love playing darts. But after attempting this with our kids, we decided this was not the best idea when it came to preserving not only our kids' safety...but also the lifespan of our walls & furniture. I never thought of using a magnetic dart set till I came across this one. Now my whole family can play without any drauma!

The mounting system of the board is feeble and needs more design thought. Accidental bumps and dart pulls cause the board to move and scratch the wall. Additionally, it's possible to send the board falling to the floor. Inexpensive mounting solutions like the "Viper QuickFit Dartboard Mounting Bracket" could have been used to guide a path forward for this concern.Between the strong magnets of the darts and the "iron rubber layer", darts tend to easily stick to the board. Even though the front of the dart is much heavier than the back, and darts tend to arc downward when thrown, they still stick to the board.The scoring card is well done and will help scorekeepers practice their addition skills. Too bad the kit isn't designed with a cabinet door that could hold the score card, markers, and erasers. The eraser has a built-in magnet so it can attach to the board, but the markers do not and will end up getting lost.Overall a fun product, but there are many players in this space at a lower price point so decide which type of board best suits your purpose, then get it.
