I’m very happy with this product. Kudos to the people that designed this it really does work. I had another similar company etitive same priced product that I bought that was half the weight of this one. Why does this winning product have the extra weight? It was because the manufacturer used high quality heavy duty magnets. I’m very happy with this product and it comes highly recommended. When you get there she’ll notice that it’s very heavy. I could not understand why there was no recommendation on a drillbit size to use to install this. If you’re going to put in anchors for the screws it is imperative that use the right size drill bit. I had to figure this out for myself since there was not any specifications. The drill bit size I used at work for me is 11 by 16th“. I took a picture of it so you could see what it looks like. If you’re going to drill in a mounting hole for the anchor than you need to have the right size drill hole. I use this and it works perfectly. Also if you’re going to put the screw in use the drill to do that don’t do it with your hand. You’re asking for lots of cramps in your hand when you could be using the drill for this. So a drill is highly recommended to do this right if you’re going to be putting a hole in your wall. Now what is the problem with putting a hole in the wall ? If it’s going in the wall itself should not be an issue you can use spackle to easily cover the whole up later if you need to. As for attaching this to something like tile that is difficult to drill I am seeing others on here recommending using grill a double stick tape. I bought some of this but ended up not needing to use it, so I can’t really talk on that. But it seems like that would be a direction to try. If it’s not a solution in the end you can easily get the tape off of the tile with a little bit of thinner to remove the tape. Here is a tip for all of those out there that have iPhones. There is an application that’s already on your iPhone that makes installing this and getting it level a breeze. Do a search on your iPhone for “level” An application comes up that makes it easy to install this straight and get it right. I put the template on my back of my iPhone using masking tape making sure the template is visibly straight. Open the level app (called clinometer aka level). While this application running get it positioned perfectly where I wanted to hang it on the wall. Make sure it shows level on the screen. Tape the template in place on the wall with masking tape. Carefully remove the paper from the cut out on the template. Used a graphite pencil to mark the whole location. Back up and make sure that it looks level. Remove the template and you’re ready to go. Use the manufacturers instructions in general they are excellent.

It’s been a month and we love the convenience of having our knives at hand. It even holds our heavier cleaver. I would recommend this product if your backsplash or wall is smooth. Not sure how it would work on tile.

The stainless steel bar has very strong magnets (knives aren't going anywhere accidentally) and very strong 3M sticky tape on the back and it's solidly on my backslash. What can I say other than it does everything I need it for. It's great for every day metal kitchen items to stick up and out of the way. These are on the pricier side for me but so far well worth the few extra dollars for such a robust product. Will definitely be recommending to all the home cooks I know.

I purchased the 10" bar so that it would fit on the inside of my cabinet by my stove as I felt this was the least intrusive area to place these and keep my knives. I ordered 2 different brands of magnetic bars so that I could compare them and keep the best one, but they ended up being pretty identical in appearance and function so I kept them both. I only used the tape to secure the bar to the cabinets and have not had any issues with them remaining in place. I did place them a little too low to have the knives pointing upward without the handles hanging below the cabinet, but I didn't want to risk weakening the tape by removing and repositioning them. Because of this, my knives have to point downward, but I've never had any of them fall off in roughly one year of use. The scissors are pretty heavy but as long as I make sure they are secure before I let go of them, they also stay in place.

I love to cook, and having an organized kitchen is important to me. We just moved into a new house, and there really isn't a good spot for a knife block on a counter, but I don't want to have to open a drawer every time I need a knife. We have a perfect spot right beside the stove to mount this knife holder, and it's exactly what I needed! I've had it up for nearly two months now, and the adhesive is obviously excellent because it hasn't budged. And look how many knives and utensils it holds! It makes my kitchen much more ergonomically efficient. Five stars!

I ordered one 24 inch and two 17 inch, magnetic, peel n stick, stainless steel strips that have strong magnetism. Then I ordered the 10 in metal that the spice containers attach to. My RV went over bumps and not one spice jar fell. Those are 40 spice jars shown in the picture. As a safety precaution I take my knives down when we leave the camp site. You see how the quality of those knives? The magnet is great! Yes! I'm that gal. And, I maximized my cooking potential.

I bought the short, 10 inch bar and installed it on the side of my cupboard. We have a retro 1950s kitchen, with walnut cabinets. The magnet on the bar is very strong and holds some very heavy knives. I love getting the block off the counter and having these knives with an easy reach. It was very easy to install, and all the supplies were included. I am very happy with this product.

Yea I have a slight obsession with knives. I do a lot of baking and cooking so you can never had too many. I had to buy two of these 24" bars to hold all of them. Installed them on glass tile so the adhesive option was the only one for me. Even these came with hardware for installation on sheetrock or wood. The first one I put the adhesives edge to edge and that left a bit more space at one end than the one that I put a couple mm's between them. It's all good though. Followed install instructions exactly as stated. Cleaned the entire area around the space with soap and water that these holders would go on. Made sure it was completely dry. I put a small level on top of the bar and slowly placed the top edge against the wall and when it was level, pressed it. After both were installed, again pressed hard against the entire bar. Then waited 25 hours (just because I could) and then placed the knives on them. I initially did handle up, but they tended to lean to the side. So I store them handle down.It's been more than 2 days now and no issues. A simple pull on the handle and the knife comes off easy. The magnets gently take the knife out of my hand when replacing them.I would highly recommend this product. One bar will hold the standard number of knives that come with a knife block.

How nice to find a product that does what it says it will! I followed the instructions and used the adhesive pads since I wanted this attached to a glass tile backsplash. It was very easy. It's been a month and the adhesion is working perfectly, the knife holder is currently holding an assortment of cutlery as shown in the photo, including a pair of kitchen shears. I'm not one for reviews but I recognize their value as I relied on them to make this purchase and I'm happy to give it 5 stars. I'm very pleased with the look and the quality, and I'm glad to be rid of the old knife block. Highly recommend!

I was somewhat anxious that it would not hold all our knives because of some of the reviews but it's been over 2 weeks now and it hasn't budged! We cleaned the tile with a spray dish soap and then wiped it with a paper towel moistened with alcohol, allowing a minute or so to dry before applying the adhesive tape side to the wall. We did use a level to strike a straight line for placement. After applying the bar, we pressed firmly several times along the bar. After 24 hours we attached our knives, meat cleaver, sharpening steel and kitchen shears without any problems. Great addition to our kitchen and I'm so happy to get bulky knife block off the counter and sharp knives out of the drawers.

We ordered the 2-pack of 10-inch magnets. We followed all the instructions to a T. One works as described, but within a week the other one fell off the wall and the adhesive was peeling off. Maybe we overloaded the magnet, but no weight limit on the magnet was ever stated so we thought we'd be ok.

I'm a recently retired cook, wanted easy access to my knives, something more convenient than the case I'd used for work that wouldn't take up counter space & would avoid the health risks of a knife block (there's good reasons most health depts. don't allow them!).I waited a few months to write review b/c several reviews claimed the included glue strips were insufficient if you have heavy knives. I've had no such problem after several months, some during the record breaking heat wave here in extremely humid SE Texas. Also worth noting, it hangs near the range & is exposed to steam from boiling water. I'll let the picture speak for itself re: the weight & size of the knives it's supporting.I suspect those who had problems didn't fully follow the (quite precise) instructions.As you can see, it's installed on a tile surface which, per the instructions, I throughly cleaned & dried before installation. I applied the strips on the manner prescribed by instructions & waited the full 24 hours as advised before hanging any knives on it.I've had zero problems after several months of use & am extremely satisfied w/ this purchase. The magnets are super strong, it's attractive & easy to clean, holds the knives securely while allowing easy access. I love it!

The magnet is strong and hold 7 Cutco knives & sheers. Very great product.The adhesive does not work. I cleaned the tile wall and a half hour later it fell. I decided to move it to the wood cabinet wall and an hour later it fell again. I tried 3 more times and it had the same result.Do you have a different adhesive?

seldom ever do reviews. And it's usually because of horrible or terrific service. It's the latter this time. I ordered the HMmagnets Strong Adhesive (no drill) magnetic knife holder for wall - 17 in knife strip. Because of a flaw (higher middle tiles) in my kitchen wall, I couldn't use the initial set of heavy adhesive pads supplied with the product. My knife holder rack actually rocked in place. I worked with the HMmagneticsÂ folks (Christa for the most part). The team there, with Christa in the lead, worked with me to solve my issue. They sent me extra adhesive pads to prevent the rocking. That solution failed in the end and I decided to use my last option and drill into my tile. Something I had done before successfully but really didn't want to do again. The team worked with me relentlessly suggesting my best recourse (ie. not drilling thru the tile but rather through the grouting surrounding the tile.) It turned out to be a total success. And what's really important, my wife is very happy with the results. Christa answered all my EMAILS in a very precise and professional manner. I might also add, very quickly. Â I actually found a company that seemed to care about the customer

We installed this in our travel trailer. It gets bounced around quite a bit. The knives stay stuck. Anything with a narrow blade like scissors gets put away before travel. It has been on the wall for several trips now and the adhesive is working very well.

This bar just gave me some valuable counter space back. It was easy to install, no drilling. It is a strong magnet and holds heavy knives. I hope it stays up.It seems sturdy. The adhesives were easy to install. I followed the instructions,cleaned well and waited 24 hours before putting knives on. So far so good!
